The GHS Subsea School was created by Senior Oilfield Services Analyst Brian Uhlmer as a vehicle to introduce the institutional investor community to the intricacies and complexities of the equipment used for subsea oil and gas production. Conducted in conjunction with FMC Technologies (FTI), the Subsea School gives investors an up-close, hands-on experience with vital equipment that is mainly located thousands of feet below the sea. This annual three-day experience includes meetings with E&P management teams, the school itself at FTI’s Houston facilities, and a day of touring other Oilfield Service company facilities in the Houston area. And, like all GHS events, attendance includes full amenities at one of the area’s finest hotels.
