Daniel O. Conwill IV

Chairman, CEO & Director of Investment Banking

Daniel O. Conwill IV is a Founder, Chairman of the Board and CEO and runs the Investment Banking group at Global Hunter Securities, LLC. Under Mr. Conwill's leadership, GHS has completed over $150 million in financings since its inception and is currently engaged in over $400 million in equity and debt financings. Prior to forming GHS, Mr. Conwill was Executive Vice President and Co-Director of Corporate Finance at Jefferies & Company, Inc. While at Jefferies & Co, Mr. Conwill founded its oil and gas investment banking group in 1993 and managed that group until his departure in 2005. During that time, the group raised over $15 Billion in over 100 private and public equity and debt transactions and completed over 70 merger and acquisition transactions totaling over $10 billion in transaction value.

Prior to joining Jefferies in 1993, Mr. Conwill was a Managing Director in Corporate Finance at Howard, Weil, Labouisse, Friedrichs, Inc. Mr. Conwill's professional career started in the Tax department with Arthur Andersen & Co.

Mr. Conwill received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Accounting from the University of Mississippi and has a law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law.

Richard A. Goldenberg

Managing Director, Head of Global Debt Capital Markets

Mr. Goldenberg is a Managing Director and Head of Global Debt Capital Markets at GHS. Mr. Goldenberg has over 15 years of investment banking experience with expertise in leveraged finance transactions around the world. Mr. Goldenberg has completed over 200 transactions across most major industry groups including metals, transportation, E&P, oil service, business services, human and animal healthcare, gaming and leisure, restaurants, multi-level marketing, manufacturing, waste management, aerospace and defense, consumer products, technology and chemicals. Mr. Goldenberg has expertise in raising public and private capital for issuers in all debt forms including revolvers, term loans, subordinated debt, mezzanine, notes and convertible instruments. Mr. Goldenberg has also developed a niche in structuring and raising capital for growth companies and during difficult market conditions. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Goldenberg was the top producing Managing Director for several consecutive years in the Leveraged Finance Group at Jefferies & Company.

William G. Shaw

Managing Director, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions

Mr. Shaw is a Managing Director within the Mergers and Acquisitions group . Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Shaw was a Managing Director within the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Roth Capital Partners, LLC from 1999. Prior to that, he was a founder and principal of Access Group, a private investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions which merged with Roth in 1999. For five years prior to that time, Mr. Shaw operated his own merger and acquisition business under the name of Shaw and Associates. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Shaw was co-owner of an equipment leasing company servicing the citrus industry. Mr. Shaw spent twenty-one years with E.F. Hutton & Company, first as a retail broker and ultimately as a Branch Manager. He is a graduate of the Securities Industry Association Advanced Development Program at the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Shaw holds six Securities Licenses, and is a recipient of numerous industry awards.

Patrick Winton

Managing Director

Mr. Winton is a Managing Director within the Investment Banking Group. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Winton was a Managing Director within the Investment Banking Group at Sterne Agee & Leach Inc.starting in 2003. At Sterne, Mr. Winton focused on identifying investment opportunities for domestic and international companies in private and public markets, and he was instrumental in building the China Investment Banking practice. Prior to joining Sterne Agee, Mr. Winton was a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group with The Seidler Companies, a Los Angeles based investment banking firm. Additionally, he was with Roth Capital Partners. Previous to Roth Capital, he served as Senior Research Analyst with E*OFFERING, the investment banking arm of E*TRADE Securities, located in San Francisco. For five years prior to joining E*OFFERING, he served as analyst for C.E.F.D. Inc., a highly respected private research firm covering a broad array of closed-end funds and real estate securities. He holds a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara and has appeared extensively in the financial press including CNBC, CBS Marketwatch, Dow Jones and Los Angeles Times.

Jeffrey S. Zolkin

Managing Director

Mr. Zolkin is a Managing Director within the Investment Banking Group.  Mr. Zolkin has over 10 years of investment banking experience with expertise in global leveraged finance transactions.  Mr. Zolkin has completed over 50 transactions which represent capital raises in excess of $7 billion across multiple industry segments including basic materials, industrial manufacturing, consumer goods, aerospace and defense, automotive, telecommunications, energy and oil services.  Mr Zolkin was most recently a Senior Vice President in the leveraged finance group of Jefferies & Company. Mr. Zolkin received his MBA from Columbia Business School with Beta Gamma Sigma honors and his BA from the University of California, Irvine.

Kun He

Vice President

Mr. He is a Vice President with the Investment Banking group. Mr. He specializes in small- and micro-cap Chinese companies. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. He worked as an Associate Analyst with Calyon Corporate and Investment Bank where he specialized in the energy industry. During his tenure there, Mr. He's job involved financial analyses for various Oil & Gas companies as well as oil service companies. Prior to Calyon, he was a Research Engineer at a commercial research center of NASA called Space Vacuum Epitaxy Center. Mr. He received his BE in Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China. Mr. He also has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and a MBA in Finance from the University of Houston.

Donald J. Murray

Vice President

Mr. Murray joined the Company in November 2007 as a Vice President with the Investment Banking group. Mr. Murray's background includes twelve years of experience in private placements, mergers & acquisitions, portfolio investments, consulting and cross-border transactions. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Murray was a Vice President with Pacific Ridge Capital, where he executed capital raises for public and private companies in the energy, health care and technology sectors. Prior to joining Pacific Ridge Capital, he provided strategic consulting and M&A advisory service to companies in financial services, industrial, technology and adventure sports industries. Prior to that, Mr. Murray was an Associate in the Investment Banking Group of OffRoad Capital, where he was responsible for executing private placements for early stage technology companies. Prior to OffRoad Capital, Don worked in Europe as a portfolio analyst for KWFM AG - a consortium comprised of Lazard Freres & Cie, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and VHF Advisory Services - the fund manager of a publicly traded European Investment Fund, providing debt and equity funding for growth, acquisitions and recapitalizations. Prior to entering the field of finance, Mr. Murray served as an Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Murray received an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Ohio State University and a BA in Management Studies from the University of Maryland.

Michael H. Schmidt

Vice President

Mr. Schmidt joined the Company in October of 2007 as a Vice President in the Investment Banking group. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Schmidt was the head of Corporate Development at Intermarine, LLC and Industrial Maritime Carriers Worldwide, LLC. Both companies are privately held logistics and transportation companies focused on Power Generation and Oil and Gas in South America, Asia, and Middle East markets. During his tenure there, he specialized in developing new clients in growth markets and spent extensive time traveling in Asia with a focus on China. Mr. Schmidt graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation. Mr. Schmidt also earned a United States Coast Guard License and a holds a Commission in the US Naval Reserve.

Christopher D. Heath

Vice President

Mr. Heath is a Vice President with the Investment Banking Group.  Mr. Heath has over 9 years of investment banking experience with expertise in M&A transactions around the world.  He has completed over 80 mergers & acquisitions, all of which were in the energy industry.  Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Heath was an Associate at Jefferies & Company, with dual roles in the Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors Groups.  Mr. Heath has also spent time with sell-side E&P advisors, Tristone Capital and Wells Fargo Energy Advisors.  He was previously with Calpine Natural Gas for 5 years as a Senior Financial Analyst working on domestic and international assignments totaling over $2 billion.  Mr. Heath started his professional career with Acquisition Partners, Inc., closing over $500 million in transactions in the water and wastewater industry.  Mr. Heath received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Houston Baptist University and his M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas.

Justin Brown, CPA

Associate

Mr. Brown is an Associate with the Investment Banking group. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Brown worked as a Senior Analyst with Moss Adams, LLP starting in 2004. During his tenure there, he specialized in valuations of closely-held companies as well as post-merger intangible asset allocation and valuation. Mr. Brown maintains an active license with the state of California as a Certified Public Accountant and is a Level II candidate in the CFA Program. Mr. Brown is an active member in the California Society of Certified Public Accountants as well as the CFA Society of Los Angeles Society. Mr. Brown graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in Business Administration (Accounting & Finance).

Alex Jin

Associate

Mr. Jin is an Associate within the Investment Banking group. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Jin worked as an analyst within the Investment Banking Group at Sterne Agee & Leach Inc. starting in 2007. At Sterne, Mr. Jin focused on facilitating Reverse Merger/PIPE transactions for China-Based companies. to joining Sterne Agee, Mr. Jin worked as an Equity Research Analyst at the Red Chip Company, a national renowned research firm in the US specializing in research of micro-cap, small-cap companies. Mr. Jin's focus at Red Chip was to bring in-depth researches and analyses on China-Based companies traded on the US stock exchange. Mr. Jin received a MBA degree with an emphasis in Finance and a BS degree in Business Administration from University of California Riverside. Mr. Jin is also bilingual in Mandarin and English.

Ray Jeandron

Associate

Mr. Jeandron is an Associate with the Investment Banking group and works in Global Debt Capital Markets. Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Jeandron was an Analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group of Jefferies & Company. During his tenure there, he specialized in debt capital solutions for growing to mid-sized companies across industry groups. In particular, Mr. Jeandron focused on the energy industry and on special situations. In addition to leveraged finance transactions, he worked on a number of M&A deals and equity-linked capital raises. Mr. Jeandron also has auditing experience with KPMG. Mr. Jeandron graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston College with a BS in Management (Accounting & Finance).
